About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at 8463859 Canada Inc. as a Technical Support Analyst.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, applications, and network infrastructure.
  • Problem-Solving: Research and implement solutions to technical issues, utilizing user guides, technical manuals, and other documentation.
  • Training and Development: Offer advice and training to users to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Log Management: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Project Participation: Participate in the redesign of applications and other software to improve system efficiency and user experience.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other technical support workers in this group to ensure seamless support delivery.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to users, responding to their technical inquiries and concerns.
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL): Familiarity with ITIL framework and methodologies.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in JavaOS, security software, project management software, website creation and management software, web service design, database software, and software development.
  • Programming Skills: Knowledge of C++ and Oracle.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of e-commerce principles and practices.
  • Security and Safety: Familiarity with criminal record checks and adherence to security protocols.
  • Travel and Transportation: Willingness to travel for work-related purposes.
  • Personal Qualities: Initiative, organized, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
