Your Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our International Tax division, responsible for the following duties:

  • Deliver tax services to our clients, including our expanding public company sector
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of taxation principles and effectively apply your expertise to client situations
  • Offer practical and innovative tax solutions to clients, including preparing and reviewing tax reorganizations and returns
  • Engage in tax consulting, advising on international growth, inbound expansion into Canada, assisting with tax disputes, and preparing tax memorandums and research on complex tax issues
  • Participate in business development efforts and identify new opportunities with current clients
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding project updates and challenges on an ongoing basis
  • Mentor staff and invest in the professional growth of your team

Your Qualifications and Background

  • You hold a Canadian CPA designation and have completed your In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Tax
  • You possess 5 or more years of experience in public accounting with a focus on Tax
  • You have a solid understanding of Canadian and International Tax
  • You are well-versed in relevant tax legislation, corporate tax compliance, and planning
  • You exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • You demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities
