Job Overview

As the Human Resources Administrative Assistant at Qualico Canada, you will provide administrative support to the HR Business Partner for the day-to-day administration of recruitment, hiring processes, and delivering excellent customer service to employees. You will also provide administrative support to the Executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare various Human Resources correspondence, documentation, internal/external communications, and assist with the preparation and submission of reports for the Executives.
  • Support the recruitment and hiring process, conduct new employee orientations, and coordinate and maintain HR programs, training sessions, and activities.
  • Assist with day-to-day HR tasks, including general inquiries, payroll & benefits administration, and HR projects and other initiatives as required.
  • Maintain and update records in the HRIS system and handle confidential business and personnel information with integrity.
  • Act as a representative of the Executive to liaise with internal/external stakeholders, assist in developing and refining communication plans, and relay messages from internal and external sources to the Executives.
  • Manage executive calendars, scheduling, and arrange meetings, attend these meetings, take and distribute meeting minutes, and follow up on assigned action items.
  • Plan and coordinate various company initiatives and events and assist with coordinating site visits by external and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Administrative and/or HR-related experience.
  • Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
  • Proficient using office equipment, Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) with advanced abilities working with Microsoft Excel.

Work Conditions:

You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours. Overtime may occasionally be required.
