About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Merchandising Service Manager to join our team at Reno Depot. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of merchandising and service activities in our stores, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Execution: Oversee the execution of merchandising and service activities in our stores, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Merchandise Service Associates, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate projects, including resets, merchandise servicing, and customer service initiatives, to ensure timely and effective execution.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that customers have a positive experience in our stores.
  • Store Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure that our stores are safe and clean, conducting regular safety reviews and implementing measures to prevent accidents and maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Performance Management: Evaluate the performance of Merchandise Service Associates, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure they meet performance expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years of customer service or retail experience in a fast-paced environment, or 1 year of experience in a store from the Reno Depot network.
  • Management Experience: 1 year of management experience as a team lead or leading others in a formal or informal capacity.
  • Merchandising Experience: 1 year of merchandising experience, including reading planograms, setting up and tearing down displays.
  • Project Management Experience: Experience managing projects, including resets, merchandise servicing, and customer service initiatives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and management.
