Job Description

We are hiring for an Assistant Pharmacy Manager at our central fill facility, supporting Save-On-Foods Pharmacies in BC by providing centralized services such as processing, packaging, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day pharmacy central fill tasks, including the preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals to support our retail locations.
  • Monitor and meet deadlines for prescription orders and delivery cut-off times.
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager with setting staff work schedules, monitoring staff performance, assisting with recruiting, training, and supervising of team members.
  • Receive questions and concerns about the workplace and further escalate as needed.
  • Manage inventory.
  • Enforce policies and best practice protocols relating to pharmacy practice and drugs distribution.
Requirements:
  • Pharmacist licence and good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia or equivalent regulatory body.
  • Strong leadership skills, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
