We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at J.M.S Warehousing Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Activities: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, arranging for maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of 3-4 staff members, conducting performance reviews and providing guidance and support.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Logistics Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics, including transportation and supply chain management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads, standing, sitting, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, analytical, and proactive.
