Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at J.M.S Warehousing Inc.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Arrange training for staff
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
  • Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • First Aid Certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
Work Environment:

The Warehouse Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and working under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be accurate and efficient, and have a strong ability to work in a team.
