About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Risk Management Specialist to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating information and technology risks that could impact our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure the security and integrity of our information systems.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations to management on risk mitigation and control measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address emerging risks and trends.
  • Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to business stakeholders on risk management best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends to ensure our risk management strategies remain effective.
Requirements
  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in technology risk management or a related field.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of information and technology risk management practices, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
