Culinary Specialist

The line cook plays a crucial role in our kitchen at Farrier Pub, ensuring that our patrons receive high-quality meals in a timely manner.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Setting: The position is based in a restaurant, located in a rural area, and may also involve work in a bar setting.
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes.
- Ensure safe meal preparation for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
- Train new staff on food preparation and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food supplies and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organized.
- Fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Work effectively under pressure.
- Strong client focus and dependability.
- Highly organized and reliable.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
