Job Title: Product Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:

NAVBLUE is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to drive marketing activities for the Americas region, providing market and competitor intelligence, and developing analyses to support business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in growing the business by providing technical pre-sales support and training with marketing feedback and recommendations to the sales team for assigned products and services.
  • Support the execution of the marketing plan, customer calls, customer presentations and/or demonstrations, and other NAVBLUE business lines activities including bid management and RFP activities with marketing feedback and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technology and airline business processes and practices in the market to be recognized as an expert in the specified technology and airline know-how relevant to NAVBLUE's products and services, particularly for the Americas.

Dimensions:

  • Order intake and KPI targets: new business, renewals, and KPIs based on business development and marketing targets - support with marketing actions, analyses, feedback, and recommendations.
  • No direct management of marketing team members, objectives, and recruitment/turnover.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support marketing activities for the objectives in the Plan & Control and Analyze & Optimize value stream(s) for the Americas.
  • Develop and complete regional market analyses (competition, current, and forecast markets) and synthesize the outcomes to support the respective NAVBLUE business lines, including portfolio growth, strategy and partnerships, customer fulfillment.
  • Support go-to-market strategies, including sales toolkits, sales force training, and pricing policy development.
  • Support pricing strategy for assigned products and services with regional information.
  • Support the NAVBLUE customer feedback loop (market research, customer focus groups, controlled entry into service and trial programs, and user forums).
  • Support all stages of the sales cycle in the Americas, including managing leads qualification, supporting opportunity pursuit planning and follow-up, preparation and delivery of presentations and demonstrations to customers, and supporting the development of proposals and RFP (RFx) responses with marketing recommendations and feedback.
  • Provide a communication path to the respective product managers relating to regional commercial and operational issues.
  • Provide marketing content and support for press releases, internal/external websites, blogs, social media, trade shows, and events and conferences.
  • Demonstrate products and services using various tools (brochures, demonstrations, presentations) and articulate product capabilities and sales differentiators (unique selling points).
  • Support NAVBLUE Air, the internal NAVBLUE operations control center for customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering.
  • Preference for Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certifications.

Experience and Capabilities:

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience.
  • Flight planning and/or ops & crew management system experience.
  • Previous experience with a major flight operations solutions provider and/or major airline is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities, and Competencies:

  • Must work effectively with others in a team environment as well as independently with little supervision.
  • Capable of understanding and using enterprise software solutions.
  • Capable of demonstrating high-level product knowledge internally and to customers.
  • Understanding of market trends in a fast-moving environment.
  • Clear understanding of product evolutions and priorities at all times.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate professionally in written responses.
  • Strong analytical/critical thinking skills.
  • Superior product knowledge as it relates to the defined product suite.
  • Understanding and ability to learn to use enterprise software solutions such as Salesforce, Qlik Sense, LoopIO, and Cirium.

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally up to 40% of the time.
