We are seeking a skilled Second Cook to join our team at Nubo Kitchen + Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning: Collaborate with our culinary team to plan menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to exacting standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Staff Training: Train and mentor junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
