Job Summary:
The Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of our high-volume ski, snowboard, and bike fleet, as well as the My Epic Gear fleet. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to ensure the highest quality equipment tuning and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the service and tuning of customer, My Epic Gear, and rental skis/snowboards/bikes according to established guidelines.
- Lead daily tune shop operations, while coordinating with other departments on tune-repair needs.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and maintain a quality core tuning and maintenance center.
- Monitor team performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction.
- Ordering tune shop supplies and maintaining tune shop machinery.
- Adhere to and enforce safety procedures according to policies and standards.
- Manage a team of up to 35 frontline staff and Assistant Managers across multiple locations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of team management experience.
- A minimum of 2 years prior ski and snowboard tuning experience or background.
- A minimum of 2 years prior bike maintenance and tuning experience or background.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to operate a truck on roads through adverse winter conditions.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Work Experience.
- Direct supervisory experience.
- Proficient in MS Office Products; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
- Self-Motivated with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-building skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
The expected pay range is $58,240 - $70,720 CAD + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
