About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at 124 ON QUEEN HOTEL AND SPA. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate Inspection of Assigned Areas: Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate our housekeeping team to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our standards.
  • Ensure Safety Standards and Departmental Policies: Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and adhere to our safety standards and departmental policies.
  • Maintain Inventory of Supplies, Equipment, and Uniforms: Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure we have everything we need to maintain our high standards.
  • Schedule and Assign Duties: Create and manage schedules for our housekeeping team to ensure that all areas of the hotel are covered.
  • Inspect Sites or Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of hotel sites and facilities to ensure they meet our safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for our housekeeping team to ensure that all areas of the hotel are covered.
  • Co-ordinate Work Activities: Work with other departments to ensure that our housekeeping team is working effectively with other teams to meet our standards.
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our housekeeping team to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.

  • Judgement: Use your judgement to make decisions that are in the best interests of the hotel and our guests.
  • Reliability: Be reliable and dependable in your work, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
Experience
  • 1-2 Years of Experience: Have at least 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role.
  • Permanent Employment: Be available for permanent employment.
  • English Language: Be fluent in English, the primary language spoken in our hotel.
  • 30-40 Hours per Week: Be available to work 30-40 hours per week.
