Position: Cold Storage Warehouse Operator Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

As a Cold Storage Warehouse Operator, you will be instrumental in supporting the ongoing success of Silver Hills Bakery, which is dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle. You will engage in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment, gaining the opportunity to acquire new skills while collaborating with a team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Adhering to safety and quality protocols established by the company.

· Identifying, selecting, wrapping, and preparing outgoing products within a cold storage setting.

· Conducting material handling, inventory management, cleanup, packaging, and other essential tasks in processing and manufacturing.

· Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment by organizing shelves, pallet areas, aisles, and workstations; maintaining a clean shipping supply area; and complying with established procedures, rules, and regulations. Address any concerns promptly.

· Preserving product integrity by ensuring appropriate storage temperatures and reporting any discrepancies.

· Processing orders by fulfilling requests and supply orders; retrieving materials; packing boxes; and placing orders in designated delivery areas.

· Moving raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the facility manually and with powered equipment.

· Verifying, weighing, and counting materials and products.

· Conducting pre-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipment, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.

· Completing all documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements, Skills, & Qualifications:

· Valid Forklift Certification.

· Ability to lift 25kg repeatedly.

· Capability to work in a cold storage environment (-18°).

· Basic knowledge of RF and computerized Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

· Flexibility to work various shifts.

· Fundamental mathematical skills.

· Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

· Positive attitude and strong organizational skills.
