Basketball Team Coach Job Description

At JR Basketball Training Lab, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Basketball Team Coach to lead our competitive sports programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training and practice sessions, motivating and preparing athletes for competitive events, and analyzing and evaluating team performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training and practice sessions to improve team performance
  • Motivate and prepare athletes for competitive events and games
  • Analyze and evaluate team performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a basketball coach or in a related field
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective training programs
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong knowledge of basketball rules and strategies
