About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Basketball Team Coach to join our team at JR Basketball Training Lab. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for leading our competitive basketball programs and developing the skills of our young athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement comprehensive training programs for our basketball teams, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate our basketball teams to achieve their full potential, both on and off the court.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide expert coaching and guidance to our athletes, helping them to improve their skills and reach their goals.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with our staff, athletes, and parents to ensure a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage team schedules, coordinate travel arrangements, and handle other administrative duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP degree in a related field (e.g., sports management, coaching, education).
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a basketball coach or in a related role.
  • Skills: Excellent coaching and leadership skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with athletes of all ages and skill levels.
