Job Summary

VPC Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal production levels.
  • Quality Control: Direct quality control inspections to ensure products meet our high standards.
  • Team Management: Hire, supervise, and train employees to ensure they have the necessary skills to operate new equipment and production techniques.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely production and minimize waste.
  • Process Improvement: Plan and implement changes to machinery, equipment, and production systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Departmental Budget: Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth production and meet business objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a manufacturing management role.
  • Industry Experience: Furniture and fixtures industry.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, judgement, organized, reliable, team player, and values and ethics.
