Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal production levels.
- Quality Control: Direct quality control inspections to ensure products meet our high standards.
- Team Management: Hire, supervise, and train employees to ensure they have the necessary skills to operate new equipment and production techniques.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely production and minimize waste.
- Process Improvement: Plan and implement changes to machinery, equipment, and production systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Departmental Budget: Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth production and meet business objectives.
- Experience: 5 years or more in a manufacturing management role.
- Industry Experience: Furniture and fixtures industry.
- Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, judgement, organized, reliable, team player, and values and ethics.
