Overview:

The Branch Business Account Manager plays a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with our members and driving business growth. This position is centered around understanding member needs and delivering tailored financial solutions.

A typical day would involve:

  • Collaborating with the branch team to celebrate achievements, provide education, and offer coaching.
  • Engaging with members to assess their complete cash flow and identify their unique financial needs.
  • Delivering personalized, documented advice within our CRM system, ensuring a continuous relationship-building process rather than isolated transactions.
  • Proactively reaching out to members to understand their evolving needs and provide relevant guidance aimed at enhancing their overall financial health.
  • Working closely with internal partners to offer a comprehensive range of solutions, continually striving to improve your knowledge of all business areas.

You are:

You Have:

  • A university degree and hands-on experience in business development, including cold-calling.
  • Proven track record of strong sales and referral outcomes across various business lines.
  • A minimum of 2 years in an Account Manager role with solid lending experience, particularly in residential mortgages.
  • Proficiency in retail credit for business and self-employed clients.
  • Post-secondary education or diploma in Finance or Commerce.

Successfully completed:

  • Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC), Canadian Securities Course (CSC), or Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC).
  • CUIC 210.
  • Financial Planning I.
  • Two additional courses in a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Core Curriculum program from recognized providers.
  • CUSOURCE's Self-Employed Borrowers Course, Financial Statement Composition Course, and Intro to Business Statements Analysis.

Bonus Points:

  • Strong performance in Sustainable Wealth Management referrals.
  • Experience in relationship building.

This position operates under a union agreement, with a salary structure starting at $37.25 (Grp 6 Step 1).
