Position Overview:
Johnson & Johnson is seeking a dedicated Finance Testing and Cutover Specialist to contribute to the Innovative Medicines Transcend Finance Deployment Team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Testing Leadership: Oversee System Integration, Business Simulation, and User Acceptance Testing for all deployment releases.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the SigniFi Transact team to coordinate comprehensive end-to-end testing across systems.
- Planning: Collaborate with functional workstream leads to create detailed end-to-end testing plans for each cycle.
- Progress Reporting: Monitor testing progress, identify risks, and facilitate issue resolution.
- Data Preparation: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness of all test data and transactions prior to testing commencement.
- Defect Management: Manage testing defects for appropriate resolution.
- Access Coordination: Ensure tester security and role access for uninterrupted testing.
- Test Script Development: Create test scripts to validate design objectives and acceptance criteria.
- Financial Process Translation: Convert financial business processes into actionable S/4 HANA testing steps.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure all testing cycles and documentation adhere to compliance guidelines.
- Tool Administration: Manage program tools (Jira) for test tracking and documentation.
Cutover Management:
- Collaborate with finance process leads and cross-functional teams to develop thorough cutover plans for each deployment release.
- Lead cutover execution and tracking for all deployment releases.
- Drive program-wide methodologies through the Finance Deployment Organization.
- Facilitate optimization and administration of project tools (Smartsheet, Business Optix, Jira).
- Support coordination of intra-finance workstreams and PMO reporting.
- Assist with project management responsibilities, including onboarding and collaboration efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and leading system testing cycles, including BST, UAT, and data validation.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale system cutovers and go-lives.
- Experience in creating presentations for senior management.
- Expertise in SAP financial processes.
- Ability to manage parallel deployment release timelines.
- Proficient in interpreting SAP design documentation and translating it into actionable testing steps.
- Agile mindset.
- Experience leading finance aspects of major business transformations or ERP projects.
- Familiarity with digital tools (PowerQuery, PowerBI, etc.).
- Experience working in global or virtual environments.
- Proficient in using Jira project tools.
