As the Director of Sales for Vendor Collaborations, you will spearhead the team dedicated to onboarding new Technology Provider Partners to Info-Tech. This will be achieved primarily through the promotion of (1) research and advisory memberships, (2) collateral and reprints of analyst research, and SoftwareReviews content, as well as (3) booth, speaking opportunities, and branding at various events hosted by Info-Tech.
Your role will be crucial in defining, establishing, and executing the sales and new business acquisition strategy for the vendor services team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We seek a candidate with a proven history of success in both sales and team leadership, eager for a significant opportunity within a dynamic team that offers substantial growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Development: Formulate, execute, and assess strategic sales initiatives by directing sales and service operations, establishing performance benchmarks, and allocating resources to enhance revenue and team growth. Team Leadership and Growth: Guide, mentor, and develop your team; oversee daily sales activities; engage in performance evaluations; facilitate professional growth; and enhance team engagement and morale using company resources. Sales and Service Performance Tracking: Track and report on sales and service performance metrics regularly, ensuring compliance with Info-Tech Acquire standards and best practices. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process enhancements; communicate solutions, implement modifications, and monitor outcomes. Collaborative Strategy: Partner with the VP of Sales, Division President, and fellow Sales Directors to devise and implement the Info-Tech Acquire Strategy, adhering to company protocols. Corporate Standards and Image: Uphold a positive corporate image for Info-Tech by maintaining high standards in all sales and service delivery efforts. Client Relationship Management: Actively manage client accounts through regular service interactions to ensure alignment and maximize the use of Info-Tech memberships. Lead Generation and Client Outreach: Engage with marketing leads and coordinate outreach efforts within your designated territory to schedule sales presentations with potential clients. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration with our Research and Product Teams and other internal departments.Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline. At least five (5) years of frontline sales experience, ideally in a fast-paced B2B sales environment with a consistent record of achieving targets.Preferred Qualifications
Business Insight: Leverages knowledge of the business landscape and IT to engage effectively with clients. Vendor Advisory Memberships: These memberships grant vendors access to Info-Tech analysts and marketing experts, assisting them in understanding their market and customers, enhancing product development, and accelerating go-to-market initiatives. Marketing Assets & Sales Enablement Materials: Vendors can utilize data collected through the SoftwareReviews platform to create various marketing materials, including reports, infographics, and social media content. Event Sales: Our events provide essential opportunities for technology providers to showcase their offerings, including options for exhibiting, speaking engagements, and branding opportunities.
