About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our team at JAIJIA DENTAL LAB. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of dental restorations and appliances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Casting: Prepare plaster models and moulds, cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases, and mould wax over dentures set-up.
  • Denture Finishing: Finish metal framework of dentures and polish and buff dentures to perfection.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays, pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures, and make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: College/CEGEP education and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a commercial dental laboratory setting.
  • Work Setting: Commercial dental laboratory environment with a focus on attention to detail and hand-eye co-ordination.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, and reliable with strong interpersonal awareness.
