We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at Artemis Design Ltd.
Job Summary:The Bar Manager will be responsible for the overall management of our bar operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor revenues and labour costs to determine optimal staffing levels
- Supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality drinks
- Plan and organize daily operations, including inventory management and scheduling
- Recruit and train staff to meet business needs
- Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate coverage
- Monitor and control cash handling and inventory
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
- Ensure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and revenue
- 5-10 years of experience in a bar management role
- Proven track record of success in managing staff and operations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure
- Basic security clearance and criminal record check
- Bartender certification and Serving It Right Certificate
- Experience with accounting software and point of sale systems
- MS Excel and MS Office skills
