We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at Artemis Design Ltd.
Job Summary:The Bar Manager will be responsible for the overall management of our bar operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor revenues and labour costs to optimize profitability
- Supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products
- Plan and organize daily operations, including inventory management and staff scheduling
- Recruit and train staff to meet business needs
- Set staff work schedules and monitor performance
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation
- Leading/instructing individuals to achieve business objectives
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage events and functions, including planning and execution
- 5-10 years of experience in a bar management role
- Proven track record of success in managing bar operations, including staff supervision and inventory management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
- Basic security clearance and criminal record check
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide exceptional customer experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
