Bar Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at Artemis Design Ltd. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our bar runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and manage a team of 5-10 staff members
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching to improve performance
- Operations and Administration
- Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling
- Monitor revenues and determine labour costs to ensure profitability
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Marketing and Promotion
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the bar and increase sales
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
- Regulatory Compliance
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Education and Experience
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a bar or restaurant management role
- Certifications and Licenses
- Bartender certification
- Serving It Right Certificate
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic security clearance
