About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team at EllisDon. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall project management from pre-construction to completion, including design, coordination, budget, and schedule management.
- Prepare and submit regular, timely, and accurate project reports to stakeholders, including owners and architects.
- Meet with owners, architects, and other stakeholders to communicate project progress, concerns, and best interests.
- Monitor, interpret, and forecast project cost reports to ensure they align with estimates and maintain a positive cash flow.
- Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support team development and progression.
- Submit project reports to senior management and communicate project progress and areas of risk that require escalation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working as a project manager in general construction, with a focus on industrial construction projects.
- Experience with structural piling or concrete work is an asset.
- Ability to confidently mentor and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- CISD Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain it.
