About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at Aroma Interiors Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and maintain a high-quality finish.
  • Filling joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife is a crucial aspect of this role.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet the required specifications.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to ensure a sturdy and secure installation.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry to achieve a professional finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is the minimum educational requirement for this role.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is essential.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary for success in this role.
