About the Role

Aroma Interiors Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and even finish on drywall surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound to drywall seams and joints, and sand to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and prevent damage.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists, ensuring a sturdy and level surface.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry, achieving a seamless finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound, creating a strong bond.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • 40 hours per week work schedule.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
