About the Role

Aroma Interiors Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and even finish of drywall surfaces in our interior projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound to create a seamless finish, and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth surface.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and maintain a professional finish.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife, ensuring a flawless finish.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet the project's specifications.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to ensure a sturdy and even surface.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow each coat to dry before applying the next, maintaining a high-quality finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall finishing or a related field.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
