Job Summary
As an Expert Snowcat Operator, you'll be responsible for maintaining the pristine appearance and optimal snow conditions on our ski slopes. You'll operate heavy equipment with precision and care, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for skiers and snowboarders.
Key Responsibilities
- Masterfully operate snow grooming equipment, including snowcats, to create smooth and consistent ski runs.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on snowcat equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with fellow operators and management using two-way radios, sharing important information and updates.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of mountain terrain and adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and contribute to the overall success of the resort.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-4 years of proven experience operating snow grooming equipment in a ski resort environment.
- Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve prolonged sitting, climbing, and operating heavy machinery.
