Position Overview
This 2-year new graduate program in Underwriting is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the insurance industry. The program is divided into two phases: the Foundation Year and the Specialization Year.
Foundation Year
During the Foundation Year, you will learn the fundamentals of underwriting through a combination of classroom and on-the-job training. You will gain a solid understanding of the insurance industry and develop the skills needed to succeed in your chosen area.
Specialization Year
In the Specialization Year, you will rotate through different areas of underwriting, including Commercial Property, Fleet Underwriting, and Long Haul Trucking. This will give you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a deeper understanding of the industry.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking candidates who have completed an undergraduate degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, or Business. You should have a strong learning agility, natural curiosity, and excellent communication and analytical skills. Availability to start full-time in January is also required.
