About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Galway Coffee Inc. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are presented in a clean and appealing manner.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are friendly, efficient, and respectful.
  • Food Handling and Safety
    • Handle and store food and beverages in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are handled and stored in a way that prevents cross-contamination and maintains a clean and safe environment.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience
    • Conventional oven experience.
    • Electronic cash register experience.
    • Food dispensers experience.
    • Grill experience.
  • Transportation/Travel Information
    • Own transportation required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to stand for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
