About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at JSP Insurance & Financial Services Inc. This is a strategic leadership role that requires a strong background in operations management, with a focus on business growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Regional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Organizational Objectives: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, driving business growth and development.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, maintaining a professional image.
  • Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions, ensuring a high-performing team.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Supervision and Team Management
  • Team Size: Supervise a team of 11-15 people, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
Computer and Technology Knowledge
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows, with a strong understanding of their applications in operations management.
Area of Specialization
  • Operations Management: Strong background in operations management, with a focus on business growth and development.
  • Telecommunications: Familiarity with telecommunications systems and technologies.
  • Development: Experience in business development and growth strategies.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Workload: Large workload with multiple priorities, requiring effective time management and organizational skills.
