Freight Management Coordinator

Pacific Atlantic Freight Systems Inc is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of goods and materials across our network.
Key Responsibilities- Logistics Operations
- Coordinate the movement of goods and materials from origin to destination
- Develop and implement efficient logistics plans to meet customer requirements
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Dispatch and Scheduling
- Dispatch personnel and equipment to meet customer demands
- Develop and manage schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
- Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing customer requirements
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and submit regular reports on logistics performance and customer satisfaction
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics performance and customer satisfaction
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics operations
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Knowledge of logistics operations software and systems
