About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Pacific Atlantic Freight Systems Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Transportation Operations: Plan, organize, and execute the movement of goods from origin to destination, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Manage Freight Operations: Oversee the dispatch of freight, including scheduling, routing, and tracking, to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, transit times, and freight costs to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, customer service, and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of logistics activities.
  • Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure reliable and efficient transportation services.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure Pacific Atlantic Freight Systems Inc remains competitive and compliant.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week
