Position Summary

In the role of Account Manager for Specified Products (HVAC), you will collaborate with independent distributors and design professionals to enhance sales of our Magic Pak and Commercial HVAC offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement growth strategies within a designated geographic area, focusing on both new and existing design community partners, including Developers, Architects, and Engineers.
  • Represent the company at industry events to forge new connections with the design community.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with current accounts, providing training on products and applications to promote targeted sales growth.
  • Ensure exceptional post-sales satisfaction, fostering long-term relationships and encouraging repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and fellow sales members to create a supportive environment for mutual growth.
  • This position requires remote work with approximately 60% travel.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is necessary.

Additional Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong customer service skills and principles are essential, including needs assessment, quality service standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation.
  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a high level of motivation. Knowledge of marketing strategies, product demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales control systems is essential.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Capability to learn and utilize Customer Relationship Management software platforms.

Organizational Relationships:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills are a must.
  • Advanced knowledge of the HVAC/R industry and products is preferred.
  • Experience in a Two-Step Distribution Model is advantageous.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $125,000 - $150,000, depending on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and education. A company vehicle and fuel card will also be provided.
