Job Title: Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at 2125546 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our finance department.

Job Summary

The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions, and providing guidance to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Ensure the smooth operation of financial systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train 3-4 team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit accurate financial reports, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance and repair of equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate the requisition and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with team members, management, and other departments.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and leadership abilities, and proficiency in financial software and systems.

The Accounting Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
