About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at HelloFresh. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing production flow and scheduling, ensuring timely shipment of products, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage weekly production documents for receiving, staging, production, and shipping.
  • Ensure production plans are executed and all issues are communicated and tracked.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through low error rates on ingredient quality, pick accuracy, and ship-out time.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement production cost-saving techniques.
  • Monitor production plans, start times, dismissal times, and daily activities.
  • Maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Procedures and housekeeping in the production facility to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Establish and work within budget as permitted by the Production Manager.
  • Use designated technology to ensure quality and accuracy of shipped products and efficient customer service.
  • Review customer error calls relevant to production to measure and track quality, accuracy, and pick metrics.
  • Conduct daily 5S, process, and facility readiness checks.
  • Coordinate with the operations team, suppliers, and contractors to implement corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Work in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) acts and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or related management work experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing production in a fulfillment/distribution center, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
  • Quantitative and analytical experience, with proficiency in MS Excel and G-Suite Apps.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to provide guidance and direction to production lines.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and efficiently.
  • Ownership and accountability, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Proactive and ambitious, with a strong attitude towards getting things done.
  • Self-motivated, with a desire to learn and take on new responsibilities.
