About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at TKL Precast Group. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials

You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from the site. This will involve operating heavy machinery and equipment, such as forklifts and cranes.

Erect and Dismantle Site Infrastructure

You will be required to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure a safe working environment.

Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials

You will be responsible for mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt to complete various construction tasks.

Clean Up Spills and Debris

You will be required to clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

Remove Rubble and Debris

You will be responsible for removing rubble and other debris from the construction site to ensure a safe working environment.

Direct Traffic

You will be required to direct traffic at or near the construction site to ensure the safety of workers and the general public.

Assist Skilled Tradespersons

You will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespersons, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various construction tasks.

Requirements
  • Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.

Experience

Will train on the job.

Work Term

This is a permanent position.

Work Language

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.

Hours

40 hours per week.
