Position Title: Senior Consultant in SAP Financial Solutions

Role Overview:
Reporting directly to one of our SAP Finance Team Managers, the Senior Consultant in SAP Financial Solutions is a pivotal member of Talan's SAP Finance team, playing a crucial role in the digital transformation journey of our clients.

You will be recognized as an authority in SAP financial solutions, adept at designing and refining financial models on S/4HANA Finance to cater to the unique requirements of each client. You will oversee all project phases, including integration with logistical modules and providing post-delivery support. Within your team, you will mentor, assist, and guide your colleagues.

  • Engage in assessing client needs to propose and implement tailored SAP Finance solutions that align with their business processes.
  • Collaborate closely with logistical, technical, project management teams, and client representatives to ensure the smooth integration of developed solutions.
  • Offer fundamental technical support to project teams throughout the implementation phase.
  • Guide junior or intermediate consultants and provide training on various projects.
  • Serve as a financial expert for our clients and colleagues during sales cycles.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of financial processes within manufacturing, distribution, and logistical business environments.
  • Have at least 8 years of experience in executing SAP projects and SAP financial modules.
  • Successfully delivered multiple complete S/4HANA Finance projects.
  • Exhibit proficiency in MS-Office applications.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities in both French and English to engage with clients across Canada.
