Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at The Framers Group. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from construction sites.
- Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
- Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as directed by supervisors.
- Assist Medical Examiner: Provide assistance to the medical examiner as needed.
- Pave and Rake Asphalt: Pave and rake asphalt as required.
- Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or disposal.
- Clean Up Chemical Spills and Other Contaminants: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants as required.
- Remove Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
- Tend or Feed Machines and Equipment: Tend or feed machines and equipment used in construction.
- Direct Traffic: Direct traffic at or near construction sites as required.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with bobcats, reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, drills, and sledgehammers.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, tight deadlines, manual dexterity, repetitive tasks, and handling heavy loads.
- Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and team player.
- Experience: Will train.
- Green Job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
- Duration: Permanent.
- Language: English.
- Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
