About the Role

Cuso International is seeking a highly skilled English Language Specialist to support the efforts of the AGAPE AIDS CONTROL PROGRAMME (AACP) in Tanzania. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in strengthening the capacity of AACP teachers in teaching English to Secondary School students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to AACP English teachers to enhance their teaching skills and knowledge
  • Design and implement effective teaching curricula to improve English language skills among students
  • Build the capacity of AACP staff in English language teaching and learning
  • Identify opportunities for improving English language instruction and develop strategies to address these needs

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Teaching English as a Second Language or a related field
  • Minimum of four years of experience in teaching English language
  • Excellent decision-making and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
