Description

At the University of Ottawa, we are seeking a highly qualified individual to teach a course on phonological theory. This is an exciting opportunity for a linguistics professor to share their expertise with students and contribute to the university's academic community.

Course Overview

The course will cover a wide range of phenomena in English and other languages, including argumentation and the nature of theoretical problems. Students will gain a deeper understanding of phonological theory and its applications.

Responsibilities

  • Leading classroom discussions and lectures

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A PhD in linguistics or a related field
  • Experience teaching phonological theory or a related course
