Responsibilities
As a Sales Application Engineer (SAE) at XNRGY, you will play a crucial role in designing and preparing bid documents and proposals, including performance data, drawings, component selections, and construction details for Custom Air Handling Units and DX Systems. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for clients and sales representatives, managing projects throughout the production process.
Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Designing and preparing technical documentation, including dimensional drawings
- Creating proposals and related bid documents
- Developing submittals upon project award
- Securing submittal approvals and making necessary adjustments
- Ensuring all documentation is complete prior to production release
- Building relationships with customers and sales representatives to provide optimal solutions
- Training sales representatives on products and design tools
- Contributing to the development of sales tools
- Assisting in the enhancement of technical data as part of the team
- Collaborating with other departments to establish standard operating procedures
- Organizing customer factory visits and coordinating with other teams
- Supporting the sales team with document preparation and technical presentations
Candidate Profile

We are seeking an exceptional individual with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or building engineering or related fields
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in systems design or HVAC equipment sales
- Proactive team player with a strong sense of responsibility, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to apply and maintain administrative processes to enhance overall company effectiveness
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally across North America
