Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team at Majha Wala Transportation Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch Management: Coordinate and manage the dispatch of vehicles and drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Driver Management: Supervise and manage a team of drivers to ensure they are following company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Control: Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure that vehicles are properly stocked and maintained.
  • Documentation: Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and maintained, including trip reports, trans-border documentation, and maintenance and repair reports.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Electronic scheduler, dispatch management service software, inventory control software, human resources software, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word, MS Windows, Quick Books.
