About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Norielen Zuyco, Darius Sinoy. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
  • Tasks:
    • Follow parents' lead with toilet training.
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
    • Shop for food and household supplies.
    • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
    • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
    • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
    • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
    • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
    • Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
    • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
    • Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
    • Supervise and care for children.
    • Take children to and from school and to appointments.
    • Tend to the emotional well-being of children.
    • Help children with homework.
    • Cook.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Does not require Canadian work experience.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
