About the Role

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking an experienced Application Architect to join our team. As an Application Architect, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining large-scale software solutions using Microsoft.NET, Java, and Python technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement software solutions for large and complex enterprise environments.
  • Document solution architecture and ensure adherence to best practices, methods, standards, tools, policies, and processes.
  • Lead solution architecture and introduce the overall technical vision for large-scale Enterprise projects.
  • Communicate with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Provide leadership, planning, estimating, and presentations of architecture ideas and solutions.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with Enterprise architectural elements like clustering, load balancing, caching, availability, disaster recovery, etc.
  • Technical knowledge of application programming design patterns.
  • Technical knowledge of OWASP Top Ten Web Application Security Flaws.
  • Experience in writing and maintaining application architecture development standards and guidelines.
  • Certification in TOGAF.
  • Experience with cloud-native software development.
  • Experience with application modernization within a large and complex organization.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience working as an application architect in a large and complex enterprise environment.
  • 6+ years of experience documenting solution architecture in a large and complex environment.
  • 8+ years of experience designing, planning, implementing, and supporting software solutions in a large and complex environment.
  • 6 years of experience with large architectures and all associated best practices, methods, standards, tools, policies, and processes.
  • 6+ years of experience working as an application architect designing or maintaining solutions that use the development stack and derivative technologies (Microsoft.NET, Java, Python, etc.) within a large and complex organization.
  • 6+ years of experience in leading solution architecture and introducing the overall technical vision for large-scale Enterprise projects.
  • 8+ years of experience communicating with stakeholders at all levels within an organization.
  • Must have their own computer equipment and be comfortable using it for completion of work required by this contract.
