Enterprise Application Architect

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Architect to lead the technical direction of our projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing current technology requirements and trends to ensure our solutions meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and guidance to our development team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Solution Architecture: Design, plan, implement, and support software solutions in a large and complex environment.
- Enterprise Architecture: Develop and maintain large enterprise architecture or corporate architectures, and all associated best practices, methods, standards, tools, policies, and processes.
- Cloud-Native Development: Experience with cloud-native software development and application modernization within an organization of equivalent size and complexity.
- Security: Technical knowledge of OWASP Top Ten Web Application Security Flaws and experience with enterprise architectural elements like clustering, load balancing, caching, availability, disaster recovery, etc.
- Recent experience working as an application architect in a large and complex enterprise IT environment.
- Experience documenting solution architecture in a large and complex environment.
- Recent experience designing, planning, implementing, and supporting software solutions in a large and complex environment.
- Recent experience with large enterprise architecture or corporate architectures, and all associated best practices, methods, standards, tools, policies, and processes.
- Recent experience working as an application architect designing or maintaining solutions that use the development stack and derivative technologies (Microsoft.Net, Java, Python, etc.) within a large and complex environment.
- Recent experience in leading solution architecture and introducing the overall technical vision for a large-scale Enterprise projects.
- Proposed resource must have own computer equipment and be comfortable using it for completion of work required by this contract.
- Experience providing leadership, planning, estimating, and presentations of architecture ideas and solutions.
- Experience with enterprise architectural elements like clustering, load balancing, caching, availability, disaster recovery, etc.
- Experience and technical knowledge of application programming design patterns.
- Technical knowledge of OWASP Top Ten Web Application Security Flaws.
- Experience in writing and maintaining application architecture development standards and guidelines.
- Certification in TOGAF.
- Experience with cloud-native software development.
- Experience with application modernization within an organization of equivalent size and complexity to the Government of Alberta.
