Job Description

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Developer to join our team. As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom SharePoint solutions using Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, SQL Server, and Visual Studio.NET.
  • Implement and manage SharePoint site collections, including creating and configuring site templates, workflows, and security settings.
  • Develop and deploy custom web parts, user controls, and workflows using SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio.NET.
  • Configure and manage SharePoint search, security, and authentication settings.
  • Develop and implement business intelligence solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services and Excel Services.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on SharePoint features and functionality.
Requirements:
  • 5-10+ years of experience working as a SharePoint Developer.
  • Completion of College or University in Engineering, Computer Technology or other relevant field of study.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience with MS SharePoint and MS SQL Server.
  • 2+ years working in a Senior capacity performing the following tasks:
    • Developing strategic documentation, frameworks, and strategies.
    • Conducting reviews and assessments of program objectives from a technical perspective.
    • Analyzing and evaluating alternative solutions to meet departmental objectives.
    • Ensuring the integration of all aspects of solutions.
    • Monitoring industry trends to ensure that solutions fit with government and industry directions for technology.
Additional Information:
  • This role will require a Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance.
  • This position will work 2-3 days on site in Gatineau.
