We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our team at Le Citadin 2022 I.N.C. as an apartment building caretaker.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and is able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilities Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Groundskeeping: Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Technical Experience: Sanitation and hygiene, and perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, temporary position, 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: French.
